Week 6
Painting the Bird House Our unit of inquiry is coming to an end. We have designed, created and finally finished decorating our bird houses and bird feeders. Next week we will hang them up around the school and hope we improve the birds environment around the school. Maths Dividing This week we focused on how division and multiplication are related. If we know our times tables, then knowing answers to division sums will be easy. Next week we will continue working on division problems and start to investigate compass directions and angled turns. 2, 5 and 10 timetables We had a chance to revise our knowledge of some of the times tables we have learned this year. Dioramas We have stated to create a diorama that will show how man and the environment interact. Next week we will start to fill the inside of the box with our different ideas of what these environments look like.
