Week 8 Is Great

Welcome 

We have made it though our first full week of face to face learning and I think that the children are very quickly settling into our new way of learning and working. There are certain behaviours that the children need to observe but we think they are managing these well. We took lots of pictures this week please enjoy them all.

A note about next Thursday the 7th of October

We have received word that the authorities will cut power to the area from the Railway tracks up to the junction with Route 2021 from 9am to 5:30pm on Thursday which affects UDIS and a lot of the surrounding area. Unfortunately as many of our staff also live in this area we cannot conduct regular online lessons. As such, we have set this as a home learning day and will send work/activities to work on at home on this day. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and the unique circumstance we are under here.

เนื่องจากทางโรงเรียนได้รับแจ้งจากการไฟฟ้าส่วนภูมิภาคว่าจะมีการตัดไฟในพื้นที่ตั้งแต่รางรถไฟจนถึงทางแยกตัดกับถนน 2021 เวลา 9.00 - 17.30 น. ในวันพฤหัสบดีนี้ ซึ่งจะส่งผลกระทบต่อ UDIS และพื้นที่โดยรอบ และครูหลายท่านอาศัยอยู่ในพื้นที่นี้ จึงไม่สามารถจัดการเรียนออนไลน์ได้ ทางโรงเรียนจึงมีความจำเป็นต้องกำหนดให้เป็นวันเรียนรู้ที่บ้านและจะส่งงาน/กิจกรรมไปทำที่บ้านในวันดังกล่าว ขออภัยอย่างยิ่งในความไม่สะดวก 

UOI

We had been waiting for a sunny day and this week we got three!!! So it give us some time to go outside and observe how shadows move during the day.

เรารอวันที่แดดออก และสัปดานี้มีสามวันกับแสงแดด!!! ดังนั้นจึงใช้เวลาออกไปข้างนอกและสังเกตว่าเงาเคลื่อนไหวในระหว่างวันอย่างไร











Library
Miss Marie is our library teacher we enjoy visiting her and the new library room. She really has made it a fun place to go find books.
มิส มารี เป็นครูห้องสมุดของเราที่เราสนุกกับการไปเยี่ยมเธอและห้องห้องสมุดใหม่ เธอทำให้มันเป็นสถานที่ที่สนุกในการไปหาหนังสือ

















English
We had some fun listening to the Goldilocks story and then trying to complete a word jigsaw. Miss Emmi came in to help. We were also focusing on the skill of reading aloud to our friends.

Maths
We have been continuing our learning of how to successfully subtract numbers. 
We also were able to count in 2's up to twenty. Then we learned about odd and even numbers and we found out that the answers to the two times table are the same numbers that we count in 2s with.

เรายังสามารถนับ 2 ได้ถึงยี่สิบ จากนั้นเราเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับเลขคี่และเลขคู่ และพบว่าคำตอบของตารางสองครั้งเป็นตัวเลขเดียวกันกับที่เรานับขึ้นครั้งล่ะ 2 ทีด้วย














Reading Eggs and Prodigy
Becoming independent workers online at school is a skill that needs to develop in order for the children to become able to investigate their own topics. 
They need to learn how to log on to the schools WIFI network using personal user names and passwords. Then as a reward the children were able to access  different learning apps.
การเป็นผู้ทำงานอิสระทางออนไลน์ที่โรงเรียนเป็นทักษะที่ต้องพัฒนาเพื่อให้เด็กๆ สามารถตรวจสอบหัวข้อของตนเองได้
พวกเขาจำเป็นต้องเรียนรู้วิธีเข้าสู่ระบบเครือข่าย WIFI ของโรงเรียนโดยใช้ชื่อผู้ใช้และรหัสผ่านส่วนบุคคล จากนั้นเพื่อเป็นรางวัล เด็กๆ สามารถเข้าถึงแอปการเรียนรู้ต่างๆ









Independent
Online recently we had been learning about teamwork during our PSPE lessons. This week it was time to learn about how we can work independently. The interesting behaviour was that most of our learners found it hard to stay focused on working by themselves.

เมื่อเร็วๆ นี้เราได้เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับการทำงานเป็นทีมระหว่างบทเรียน PSPE ทางออนไลน์ สัปดาห์นี้ถึงเวลาเรียนรู้ว่าเราจะทำงานอย่างอิสระได้อย่างไร พฤติกรรมที่น่าสนใจคือผู้เรียนส่วนใหญ่ของเราพบว่ามันยากที่จะจดจ่ออยู่กับการทำงานด้วยตนเอง






Music

We have practiced singing "Sakura" Japanese song. In pairs, students played "Good morning" on the xylophone. We also started to learn "I am the Earth".

เราได้ฝึกร้องเพลง "ซากุระ" เพลงญี่ปุ่น นักเรียนเล่น "อรุณสวัสดิ์" บนระนาดเป็นคู่ เรายังเริ่มเรียนรู้ว่า "ฉันคือโลก"







Goldilocks with Ms. Emmi
At the end of this week Miss Emmi wanted to come back to read the Goldilocks story. Miss Emmi had so much fun sharing her reading skills to the children. We listened to her read and answered some questions about the story when she was finished reading.
ปลายสัปดาห์นี้ มิสเอมมี่อยากกลับมาอ่านเรื่องโกลดิล็อคส์ Miss Emmi สนุกกับการแบ่งปันทักษะการอ่านของเธอกับเด็กๆ เป็นอย่างมาก เราฟังเธออ่านและตอบคำถามบางข้อเกี่ยวกับเรื่องนี้เมื่อเธออ่านจบ








Luffy's Maths
Luffy is working with Mr. Kane and the year 4 students to develop his math skills further. 
ลูฟี่ทำงานร่วมกับมิสเตอร์เคนและนักเรียนชั้นเยียร์ 4 เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะคณิตศาสตร์ของเขาต่อไป







Lunch
These photos were taken to show you how the class sits for lunch in the canteen during the pandemic. We have screens to separate the children and they sit at least a meter and a half apart.

Welcome To Week Four Hello to you all. We are now back on track and everyone is enjoying being with their friends and learning with them,  back at school.  Congratulations These people have all been busy using our "Study Ladder" app.  At various points along their learning journey, in "Study Ladder," the children are awarded certificates to highlight their progress.  Well done to you all!!! Improving Our Reading Skills

Welcome to week 12's blog This week we were busy preparing for our assembly and we hope that you enjoyed the children's thoughts on how they have overcome an adversity in their life. The videos were sent out via the line group this week. Maths This week we have been discovering what fractions are, and how we can write them as numbers. We have learned about halves, quarters and thirds. We learned about the words "denominator" and "numerator" fractions are also useful when we are talking bout telling the time and that is what we will be investigating next week. Library miss Marie really enjoys when we visit the library. We love going there to hear her stories and choosing new books to take home. there is always an interesting activity to complete. English We are trying to expand our writing skills by including adjectives and adverbs in our sentences. Yahoo... we are back at school!

Congratulations Well done to the students who have worked on "Study Ladder" during our qurentine period. these activities are extra learning fun to emphasie the learning that we do in class. This week we were learning about right angles and the different ways that we can reposition shapes. Next week we will be focusing on learning our three time table and properties of three dimensional shapes, as we hope to add the knowledge of angles we learnt this week. English Writing  Our writing has two focuses at the moment. We are trying to improve our grammar and editing skills as well as write interesting stories. This week we started a story online and completed it at school. We asked the children to write about their feelings about learning online. They were able to say why they liked or disliked this situation. Next week we will continue to focus our attention on increasing the amount of words that we write in a story and try to edit the story as best as we can.   Maths ...
