Loy Kratong

Next Thursday 18th of November, we will celebrate Loy Kratong at school. Please be aware that the children are being encouraged to wear Thai traditional clothes on that day. See the poster below for more details.



Maths
This week we have been busily learning how to tell the time. We have been focusing on the; "half past, O'clock, quarter past and quarter to" times this week. We also revised our knowledge of fractions. Next week we will continue to tell the time with our focus moving to how to read a digital clock.



















English
We continue to learn about the different shapes, sizes and joins need so that we will be able to join up our writing very soon. Our learners are improving their reading skills and we hope that at home everyone is being encouraged to read each night. 
We are still developing the content of our sentences by learning about how to include adjectives to our writing. This will continue next week.








Library
Almost everyone remembered to bring in their library folders this week and Miss Emmi rewarded everyone who did by giving them all house points. We hope that next week everyone will remember their folders for library.

Science Day
What a great, fun day this was. All our learners joined in science investigations and some even learned how to blow up a balloon. we made skeletons investigated static electricity and constructing tall towers.































Dear Parents,

We are currently practicing our song for the Christmas video. This year, due to Covid, we will not be able to welcome parents on site, but we will prepare a video for you. Y2/3 students will record their song on Wednesday 1st of December. For this occasion, could you send the following items in your child's bag:

- Green OR red OR white t-shirt
- Christmas accessories (OPTIONAL)

The final video will be shared with parents on the 10th of December.

ขณะนี้เรากำลังฝึกซ้อมเพลงสำหรับวิดีโอคริสต์มาส ปีนี้เนื่องจากโควิด เราจึงไม่สามารถต้อนรับผู้ปกครองในสถานที่ได้ แต่เราจะเตรียมวิดีโอไว้ให้คุณ นักเรียน Y2/3 จะบันทึกเพลงของพวกเขาในวันพุธที่ 1 ธันวาคม ในโอกาสนี้ คุณช่วยส่งของต่อไปนี้ใส่กระเป๋าของลูกคุณได้ไหม:
- เสื้อยืดสีเขียวหรือสีแดงหรือสีขาว
- เครื่องประดับคริสต์มาส (อุปกรณ์เสริม)
วิดีโอจะถูกแชร์กับผู้ปกครองในวันที่ 10 ธันวาคม

Found something interesting!! We read each morning before school begins and this week these two girls wanted to share what they had found interesting in their books. It is always great to see our learners engaged in finding out about new topics. Special visit today Members from the ministry of education in Udon Thani came to see what our protocols for the prevention of the spread of Covid 19 looked like and to decide whether or not we could continue with face to face learning. We are proud and happy to announce that we are being allowed to continue with our face to face learning, this great news for everyone!!! Halloween Today we celebrated Halloween at school. It was great to see everyone dressed up and looking so colourful. Well done to all the children and the mums and dads. Thanks also for sending in the candies for the children to share with their friends. I think everyone had a great day! Welcome Phoom to our class.
